Our Story
Ryan Humphrey and his wife Kim founded Freedom Tires because they saw a gap no one was filling: professional tire service that actually comes to you. Not a guy with a jack in a parking lot — a fully equipped mobile shop with the same tools and standards as the best brick-and-mortar operations. They launched the first mobile trailer and proved the model worked.
After a year of successful operations, Kenny Gingras and his wife Sherry came on board — building out the Moscow trailer and developing the headquarters business that became the foundation of the franchise system. Every process, every checklist, every training module was developed from hands-on experience — not theory.
Today, Freedom Tires is still family-owned and operator-led. Ryan and Kenny still turn wrenches, still train franchisees, and still answer the phone. That's not a marketing line — it's how they believe a business should run.
