1. Road Hazard Protection
- Coverage: Road hazard protection is handled according to the specific policies of each tire manufacturer.
- Conditions:
- Each brand may have different coverage terms and limitations.
- Freedom Tires works on behalf of the customer to facilitate the claim and resolve the road hazard issue in accordance with the manufacturer’s policy.
- Customers must provide proof of purchase and maintenance records to qualify.
- Customers must bring the tire to our location for assessment. If a mobile service call is requested, our standard service call rate will apply.
2. Workmanship and Materials Warranty
- Coverage: Covers defects in materials and workmanship.
- Duration: Valid for the manufacturer-specified warranty period.
- Conditions:
- Defective tires will be repaired or replaced per the manufacturer’s guidelines.
- The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage due to improper maintenance.
3. Tread Life Warranty
- Coverage: Offered based on a pro-rated approach in accordance with the manufacturer’s tread life warranty.
- Conditions:
- If a tire has a 60,000-mile manufacturer warranty and the customer experiences premature wear while meeting all maintenance qualifications, Freedom Tires will apply a pro-rated discount toward a new set of tires.
- The pro-rated value is calculated based on remaining tread life. For example, if a tire with a 40,000-mile warranty wears out at 20,000 miles, the customer would receive 50% of the original tire value as a discount toward a new set.
- Regular tire rotations, alignments, and maintenance are required to be eligible for the pro-rated warranty.
- Customers must bring the tire to our location for inspection. If a mobile service call is requested, our standard service call rate will apply.
4. Free Lifetime Tire Maintenance
- Services Included:
- Flat tire repairs (within our service area).
- Tire rotations. **dually, directional tires, and others that require dismount/mount/balance will incur a cost.
- Wheel balancing.
- Air pressure checks.
- Conditions:
- These services are complimentary for the life of the tires purchased from Freedom Tires.
- Customers must schedule appointments in advance.
- Services apply only within Freedom Tires’ service network.
- Customers must bring the vehicle to our location for service. If a mobile service call is requested, our standard service call rate will apply.
5. Roadside Assistance for Tire Repairs Outside of Service Network
- Coverage:
- If a customer experiences a flat tire outside our service area, they may take the tire to a local licensed tire shop.
- If the flat is repairable, the customer can call us, and we will pay for the repair up to $30 per tire over the phone.
- Conditions:
- The repair must be performed by a licensed tire shop.
- Customers must provide a receipt for reimbursement.
- Any additional repair costs beyond $30 are the customer’s responsibility.
6. Nationwide Service Network Alternative
- Coverage: While Freedom Tires does not have a national service network, we offer reimbursement options for out-of-network tire repairs.
- Benefits:
- Customers can choose a nearby tire shop for repairs.
- Quick assistance via over-the-phone payment ensures minimal downtime.
7. General Exclusions
The following conditions are NOT covered under the Freedom Tires Warranty Program:
Misuse & Abuse
- Damage resulting from reckless driving, racing, off-road use, burnouts, or improper installation.
- Intentional damage or tampering with the tire structure.
Negligence
- Failure to perform routine maintenance, such as alignments and rotations.
- Tires showing signs of overloading or improper inflation.
Acts of Nature & Accidents
- Damage caused by fire, floods, vandalism, theft, or accidents.
- Tires damaged due to vehicle collisions.
Unauthorized Repairs
- Repairs or replacements conducted without prior authorization from Freedom Tires.
- Modifications or alterations to the tire that void manufacturer warranties.
Commercial Use
- Tires used for commercial fleets, rideshare services, or heavy-duty applications may have limited or voided warranties.
Tires Purchased from Unauthorized Sellers
- Warranty applies only to tires purchased directly from Freedom Tires or an authorized dealer.
